Job Description

  • Develop strategies to maximize sales and profitability for all retail accounts – including evaluating performance of competition and implementing strategy to increase market share. 

  • Own the P&L for retail accounts. Growing and developing a team of Key Account Managers. 

  • Managing Critical-Path to ensure optimum trading opportunities. 

  • Maintaining and growing accounts to continue current trade. 

  • Introducing new product areas to drive incremental sales. 

  • Provide accurate forecasting for each retailer at the SKU level. 

  • Develop strong, effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders. 

  • Manage the administrative duties of Sales Team in compiling business information, tracking project timelines. 

  • Keeping track of lead and delivery timelines. 

  • Full budget responsibility.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (6+years) in an national sales function with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. 

  • Experience in the food or beverage industry is essential. 

  • Organized, results and relationships oriented approach to landing/managing key accounts and maximizing sales. 

  • An existing network in the retail industry and access to a buyers’ network. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, understand & build new processes and interact well with all cross functional departments. 

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
