We empower our product teams to solve hard problems – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers love, yet work for our business. Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, generally composed of a product manager, a product designer, and several engineers.
We staff our product teams with the skills necessary to come up with effective solutions that are:
Valuable (our customers choose to buy or use),
Viable (the solution works within the many constraints of the business),
Usable (the user can figure out how to use) and;
Feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement).
As one of the Product Managers of the Supply Pillar, your job is to empower our more than 2,500 suppliers to maximise their revenue while delivering outstanding services to our Travelers and partners. TourRadar partners with the largest tour operators globally all the way to small boutique suppliers run by passionate owners, so your careful assessment of the highest impact opportunities is needed.
Booking Integrations is a core part of our success and you will be responsible maintaining and growing this area of the product to enable millions of travellers to instantly confirm their adventures.
Build new and maintain existing tour operator booking integrations with your assigned tech team
Support the release process and monitor the health of our integrations
Define, set up, and manage test cases together with the QA team
Align with business stakeholders to define and prioritize new integrations or features
Work closely with your tech lead and engineers when setting up new or analyzing issues with existing integrations
Analyse partner API feeds and create specifications for your engineering team
Autonomously run sprints with your team to deliver on high-impact initiatives
Take responsibility for leading and helping to grow a diverse team of engineers
Requirements
1+ year of technical product/project management experience
Experience working with APIs, JSON/XML
Solid understanding of other technical concepts (SOAP, FTP, HTTP codes)
Experience leading an agile team including hosting all rituals
Experience writing specifications and defining test cases
Great attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset
Excellent English verbal & written communication skills
Experience in SQL and Google Sheets
Experience using Postman (or similar)
Experience with Filezilla
Disposition to find the root cause of problems
